Where it all began...
In a 2 car garage in the small town of Weyauwega, a quaint town in central Wisconsin a dream was created. The dreamer was Amanda Rasmussen and her quest was for furniture made out of solid wood. Without finding what she was looking for in stores, she set out to make her own. With her father lending insight, she created a few simple pieces.
With the encouragement of friends and family Amanda launched an online store in 2017 and sold her first piece 2 weeks later to a customer in Alabama.
Shortly after a friend asked for a simple loft bed for a family that was adopting 2 more kids. That is when the loft beds came into play.
Loft beds have been our biggest sellers especially after the pandemic. So many orders came in that we had to move to a new location.
We found the perfect move in ready location in Waupaca, just 10 miles away from Amanda's garage and set out to make the transition. The new location gave us the opportunity to have a showroom but we knew we couldn't fill it with all of our own products so we contacted a few local artists to help.
Now we have a larger space, a great team of employees, a showroom with 15 local consignors, and we host craft fairs throughout the year.
Amanda is the one who started it all. She now works with customers to create custom projects first in a 3D rendering then in real life. Occasionally she still gets out in the shop to help build.
